AIMS OF  SERBIAN COMMUNITY
The formation of the Serbian Community of S.A. Inc. is the outcome of  the aspirations and needs of the Serbian settlors living  and working  in  South Australia. The Serbian Community isa  HUMANITARIAN, CHARITABLE, CULTURAL, EDUCATIONAL AND SOCIAL organization whereby all  Serbian Clubs who accept membership will  be represented to the Australian community at  large at all levels as representing the Serbian community in  this State.

ЦИЉЕВИ СРПСКЕ ЗАЈЕДНИЦЕ

Стварање Српске Заједнице за Јужну Аустралију је резултат жеље и потребе српских досељеника који живе и раде у Јужној Аустралији. Српска Заједница је ХУМАНИТАРНА, ДОБРОТОВРНА, КУЛТУРАН, ПРОСВЕТНА И ДРУШТВЕНА организација. Српски клубови који прихвате чланарину биће представљени Аустралској заједници на свим нивоима као представници Српске Заједнице у овој држави.

The  Serbian  Community  shall:
Disseminate,  nurture and uphold the tradition, religious customs, language,  culture and folklore of the Serbian people.
By providing the relevant  information acquaint its members  and  nationals generally with the Australian way of life  the Australian  language and culture,  thus  facilitating their integration into the Australian society.

Care  for the welfare of  Serbs  in adverse circumstances e.g.  the old. the  incapacitated,   the young, the lonely,   the   sick  and  infirm  In hospitals both general  and menial invalids,   the  orphans  and others in need.

In order to achieve  the above Serbian Community shall initiate, undertake,  organise, promote end promote: lectures,   seminars, language  courses   (both Serbian and English),  schools,   preschool kindergartens,   provision  tor child care,    film  screenings,   lottery  circles, folk music and folk dancing groups, ethnic craft training,   social occasions,   sporting events,  arrange for the publication of  journals,   and engage   in  the  dissemination of information through all   forms of media  including  internet, newspapers, radio and television and such other activities as are deemed fit and desirable.

Assist,   instigate, and be  involved in the establishment and construction of  Serbian  schools  and preschools, other  educational bodies, old age peoples homes, hospitals and sporting activities and facilities.

Co-ordinate with all other ethnic groups for the purposes of cultural exchange and help promote the  inter relationship between the Serbian people and members of the Aboriginal community, all other  ethnic groups end members of   the  Australian community  generally with a  view  to assisting in the creation of  a multicultural   Australian  society.

To hold, own and maintain real estate, assets and property of all types which are in interest of Serbian Community in SA.

СРПСКА ЗАЈЕДНИЦА ЋЕ:

Сејати, гајити, и подржавати; традиције, верске обичаје, језик, културу и фолклор српског народа.

Обезбедити информације, саопштити својим члановима и српској заједници у цјелини те окалшати интеграцију и прилагођавае новодошлим српским имигрантима да се што лакше инегришу и прилагоде аустралијском стилу живота.

Бринути о Србима који су се нашли у лошој материјалној ситуацији као нпр. стари, неспособни, усамљени, болесни, немоћни, ментални болесници, инвалици, сирочад и сви остали у нужди.

Да би достигли гове наведено потребно је предусети се, приређивати и промовисати: лекције, семинаре, језичне курсеве (српски и енгелски), школе, предсколско образовање, обданиште, филмове, музичка култура, фолклорне групе, забавне програме, спортске утакмице, издавати часописе и ширење информација преко свих врста медија као радио и телевизија као и друге неопходне  активности.

Промовисати мултиетничку толеранцију  и сарадњу са другим етничким заједницама у Аустралији.

Држати и посједовати имовину и друга добра.
